There he was, rummaging for an old spiral notebook which contained some words he put in it about a girl who climbed trees to eat candy and laugh with her cousin. He ate something like an apple pie that day but it was in some other form, he wasn’t sure of the specific name of it but it tasted like apple pie. He liked apple pie and had a slice saved for today. All he had to do now was find the notebook. He married that girl and they had two girls and now the trees in the yard were getting to a size suited for climbing. He bought them all a few little bags of Mexican candies and thought, for his birthday, he would like nothing more than to climb one of those trees, to just sit up there to hear them laugh about things and write down a little of it, or draw some pictures and share some tastes of the pie.
