A Trailer

Hoarsely spoken, “Sometimes good people have a bad day.” the voice over quipped. The guy showered off the smell of the rescue, having fantasies of a thrilling story to suppress but really only daydreaming because he had not slept. There had not been a daring heart racing life or death attempt just matters of fate set in motion days, weeks, years before. He, not good nor bad, would sometimes give up on people. He still wished for the promises of progress but felt no loss handling the dead remains of the lives people choose. With a helium inflated voice, “Sometimes daydreamers need to sleep too.”
